Kim Il Sung Remembered Abroad

Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings and round-table talks took place in Switzerland, Ethiopia and DR Congo between June 30 and July 2 on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.
The chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee praised the President for advancing the just proposals for national reunification and energetically leading the struggle for their materialization.
The chairman of the Ethiopian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism noted that the President devoted himself to the country and people all his life and regarded it as his duty to realize the people's dream and ideal, always finding himself among them.
A vice-chairperson of the Addis Ababa Youth Association of Ethiopia said:
There are lots of legend-like anecdotes about the politics pursued by President Kim Il Sung for the people.
It is the firm will of all the Korean people to hold the President in high esteem for all ages.
There is no other country in the world but the DPRK where the leader and people are united as one.
The chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo said that the President is an outstanding elder statesman in the 20th century as he founded the immortal Juche idea and successfully embodied it to build Korean-style socialism. The exploits he performed before the era and history will always be remembered by the progressives with the victorious advance of the human cause of independence, the chairman added. -0-
