Kim Il Sung Remembered in Bulgaria, Uganda and Thailand

Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) -- Meetings for remembering President Kim Il Sung took place in Bulgaria, Uganda and Thailand between July 2 and 7. Present there were personages of the Bulgarian Communists' Party, Bulgarian Communists Union, Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association, Kim Il Sung Library in Sofia, Presidency of Uganda, Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism of Makerere University of Uganda, Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association and Rajabat Pranakorn University of Thailand and masses. Detailing the revolutionary career of Kim Il Sung, the chief of Kim Il Sung Library in Sofia, Bulgaria said he is always remembered by the Korean people and other progressives for his undying exploits for the prosperity of the country, happiness of its people and the sacred cause of global independence. The chairman of the Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association said: President Kim Il Sung, who embarked upon the road of revolutionary struggle in his teens, steered the anti-Japanese armed struggle, achieved the historic cause of Korea's liberation and founded the DPRK. He performed great exploits for accomplishing the cause of country's reunification by setting forth the three principles of national reunification, the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo and the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation. He also rendered positive support and encouragement to the struggle of the oppressed people across the world. His exploits will last forever along with the prosperity of Korea. -0-
