Kim Il Sung Remembered in Different Countries

Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- Events were held in various countries between June 28 and July 5 on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. They included a seminar on the President's work "Strengthening the Party and Enhancing Its Role Is the Basic Guarantee for the Victory of Revolution" and the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's work "The Great Comrade Kim Il Sung Is the Eternal Leader of Our Party and Our People" in Slovenia and seminars on the President's exploits in Serbia, Pakistan and Thailand. Marijann Kubik, international secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party and chairman of the Serbian National Committee for Remembering Comrade Kim Il Sung, said that all the miracles and successes achieved in the DPRK are fruition of the Juche idea, his revolutionary idea. A reporter and other speakers including Berkat Ullah, chairman of the Pakistani Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea, noted that the Juche idea founded by the President serves as a banner of struggle for the peoples aspiring after independence and mankind has highly praised him as the eternal sun. The revolutionary career and exploits of the President will shine for all ages with the history of socialist Korea, they stressed. Songchit Pullarp, chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, said: President Kim Il Sung embarked upon the road of the revolution in his early years and led the arduous anti-Japanese war to victory to realize the historic cause of Korea's liberation. After the liberation, he founded the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, put forward the people as masters of the country and laid the firm foundation for the independent national economy. He is a peerlessly elder statesman who brightly illuminated the road ahead of the Korean people and rendered positive support and encouragement to the peoples of many countries in their struggle for achieving national independence and building a new society. -0-
