Kim Il Sung Remembered by Foreign Crewmen

Nampho, July 2 (KCNA) -- There took place a meeting of foreign crewmen to remember President Kim Il Sung at Nampho Port of the DPRK on Friday with the approach of the 22nd anniversary of his demise. They laid a floral basket before the statues of the President and leader Kim Jong Il in Nampho City and paid tribute to them. Present at the meeting were captains and crewmen of Panama-flagged ships KAIXIANG and ZHONGYU 57. Speakers said that Kim Il Sung led the two revolutionary wars to victory and saved the destiny of the Korean people from the colonial slavery and protected their motherland. The great exploits he performed in the struggle to accomplish the cause of human independence and protect world peace and stability will shine forever, they said, adding: The immortal Juche idea fathered by him is shedding brilliant rays as a beacon of hope for the world progressives. The Korean people are advancing under the uplifted banner of the Juche idea despite the arbitrary practices and sanctions of the imperialists. They expressed belief that the future of the DPRK would be rosier thanks to the tested guidance of supreme leader Kim Jong Un. A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting. -0-
