Kim Jong Il to Be Remembered in Moscow

Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- A Russian committee for remembering leader Kim Jong Il was formed in Moscow on Nov. 8. V. A. Petrov, chairman of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, was elected chairman of the committee. The committee comprises famous figures such as Dmitri Yazov, former minister of Defence of the Soviet Union, and Sazhi Umalatova, chairperson of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia. It decided to significantly organize political and cultural functions such as a remembrance meeting and photo and book exhibition on the 5th anniversary of demise of Kim Jong Il. -0-
