Kim Jong Il to Be Remembered by Russian Political Parties

Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- Committees for remembering leader Kim Jong Il were separately formed by the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia and the Party of Communists of Russia on Monday and Tuesday. Sazhi Umalatova, chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, and M. A. Suraikin, chairman of the Central Committee of the Party of Communists of Russia, were elected chairpersons of the committees. The committees decided to organize political and cultural functions to praise the career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of his demise. -0-
