Kim Jong Il's Exploits Remembered in Britain

Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, Korean Friendship Association UK and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula issued a joint statement on Dec. 7 to observe the 6th anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il. The statement said that Kim Jong Il's demise was the great sorrow to the Korean people and the world's progressives and that yearning for him is growing stronger among the world people with passage of time. It went on: Comrade Kim Jong Il performed tremendous exploits in political, military, economic, cultural and all other fields with his distinguished leadership ability. He was the leader of the people who developed the DPRK's socialism on the basis of the Juche idea, the Songun idea and the great successor to the revolutionary cause of Comrade Kim Il Sung. He consolidated the integral whole of the leader, the Party and the masses as firm as rock and dynamically led the Workers' Party of Korea only along the road of Juche. Thanks to his Songun politics, the DPRK could win victory after victory in the acute showdown with the imperialists and emerge a full-fledged nuclear weapons state. We are remembering him with deep emotion on the threshold of the 6th anniversary of his demise. -0-
