Kim Jong Un Sends Congratulatory Message to Xi Jinping

Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, Thursday sent a congratulatory message to Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The message extended the warmest congratulations to Xi Jinping and, through him, to the Central Committee of the CPC and all party members and other Chinese people on the occasion of the 95th founding anniversary of the CPC. The CPC led to victory the protracted struggle of the Chinese people against the imperialists and the reactionaries in the homeland to build new socialist China, the message said, adding: Now the CPC is conducting a vigorous struggle to strengthen the party, keep social stability, achieve sustainable development of economy and build a comprehensively well-off society. The message wished the Chinese people greater success in their efforts for building socialism with the Chinese characteristics and realizing prosperity of the Chinese nation under the leadership of the CPC. We have willingness to develop together with the Chinese comrades the DPRK-China friendship with long historical roots as required by the new century and thus promote socialist construction in the two countries and defend peace and security in Northeast Asia, the message said. It wished Xi Jinping good health and success in his responsible work and the People's Republic of China prosperity and the Chinese people happiness under the leadership of the CPC. -0-
