Kremlin hopes for improvement of relations with US - Kremlin spokesman

MOSCOW, September 29. /TASS/. The Kremlin hopes for a dialogue with the United States and notes the sides’ readiness to cooperate on the Syrian settlement, Russian president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday. "It is secret to no one that now they [the Russian-U.S. relations] are not in a best shape and the potential for dialogue is undoubtedly bigger than the current volume of cooperation," he said. "Russia has always said, and we have been confirming it at various levels, that it is interested in the development of bilateral relations, interested in the development of mutually beneficial dialogue," Peskov said. "We hope it will be that way. At least there is certain readiness to cooperate on the most pressing crisis situations in the interests of their settlement, such as the Syrian affairs," the Kremlin spokesman underscored. Read more
