LABOR MINISTER WORKS AT ‘11 11’ CENTER

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Labor Minister Ya.Sanjmyatav worked Wednesday at the ‘11 11’ Center of the Government. At the beginning of the interview with an officer of the Center, the Labor Minister linked reasons of establishment of his Ministry to need of a well-arranged social welfare system, employment provision to working-age population and increased employment in the nation. During the interview, many people asked the Minister about a job training program of the Government that has been taking place in vocational centers of Ulaanbaatar and provinces. Within this program, some five thousand people have thus far graduated from relevant job trainings, and nearly 80% of them have established labor contracts with employers. Mr Sanjmyatav also highlighted a decrease in workforces seeking employment in foreign countries, taking an example that the number of Mongolian workers in South Korea has phased down to a thousand and 900 from three thousand in one year’s time. Another achievement of the Ministry is transparency in loan information of the Small and Middle Enterprises Support Foundation, the Minister noted. During the interview nearly five thousand people accessed to the Center via phone or internet.
