Larijani Advises G5+1 Not To Seek Excuses In Nuclear Talks

Tehran, Aug 13, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran will seriously follow nuclear talks for confidence-building on the national nuclear program, calling on the G5+1 not to seek pretexts. Addressing the seminar of Iranian ambassadors and representatives on missions abroad, Larijani said Majlis supports Foreign Ministry especially during nuclear talks, of course many view points have always been in the country and Majlis. ˈHeavy responsibility is on shoulders of Dr. Mohammad-Javad Zarif and his colleagues at the Foreign Ministry due to sensitivity of regional issues and the need to proceed nuclear talks,ˈ said Larijani. He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers active diplomacy with outside world as necessary and fortunately such professional work is done by the foreign ministry./end
