Larijani Calls For Political Solution To Regional Problems

Tehran, Sept 30, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Sunday that gone is the time for inaction and that diplomatic efforts must be made to make a breakthrough for settlement of the regional problems. Larijani made the remark in a meeting with Secretary General of the Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union (IIPU), Mahmoud Urul Gilich. Gilich for his part briefed Larijani on the IIPU Secretariat’s activity and said its goal is consolidating and promoting solidarity among Muslims. He appreciated Iranian Majlis for constant support for the IIPU. Larijani and Gilich talked on the time and venue of the upcoming conference of the speakers of the Islamic Cooperation Organization member states./end
