Larijani Calls On World Powers To Seek Reality In Upcoming Talks

Tehran, Oct 12, IRNA – Majlis (Iranian Parliament) speaker Ali Larijani called on the world’s major powers to prepare for negotiations with Iran on the basis of today’s realities and not what they used to insist on in the past. Larijani made the remarks upon his arrival from six-day trip to the European countries at Tehran’s Mehrabad International Airport on Friday. “We made it clarified our stance to them and told them that the text of negotiations of Group 5+1 should be shaped according to the realities of today and not with retrospection,” he added. Larijani embarked on a six-day visit to three European countries of Serbia, Switzerland and Croatia on Sunday. Majlis speaker visited Serbia first and then he departed for Switzerland to attend the 129th Annual Meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva, Switzerland before embarking on a visit to Croatia./end
