Larijani meets Filipino counterpart

TEHRAN, Apr. 29 (MNA) – Iranian Speaker of Parliament received Filipino Speaker of the House of Representatives this morning. Ali Larijani and Feliciano Belmonte hold a meeting this morning to discuss regional and international issues. Parliamentary cooperation, development of economic ties, and fighting terrorism have been considered as well. Larijani stressed countries’ common points of views on regional security and promotion of cooperation level. Filipino official, while stressing the Iran-Philippines 50-yera diplomatic relations, asserted that Iran plays the role of a stabilizer in region. Belmonte is visiting Tehran at the head of a Philippine delegation.
