Larijani: Nations’ Growing Awareness Isolates Zionists In Intl Arena

Tehran, July 8, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said here on Monday that the logical maturity and growing awareness of nations have resulted in further isolation of the Zionist regime in the international arena. Addressing a meeting of Education Ministry ranking officials, he said currently nations are adopting more logical positions towards the issue of war and peace. Today, the world is witnessing democracy-seeking movements based on rationality in such Islamic countries as Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt and Tunisia, he said, adding that the people are eager to decide their own destinies. The speaker regretted that there are some extremist moves going on in the region which are based on anger and wrath, noting that the people themselves are dealing with the issue. Stressing that extremist and fundamentalist groups have always made problems for Muslims, he said they claim that are fighting with the bullying powers but the question is that why they are not countering the Zionist regime and just causing problems for the Muslims. The world is now aware of their extremist attitudes, Larijani said, adding that intelligence and spying services are behind the operations carried out by such extremist groups./end
