Larijani: Regional Revolutions, Fruits Of Imam's Islamic Revolution

Tehran, Feb 1, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said here on Wednesday that regional revolutions are vivid outcomes of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran led by late Imam Khomeini. Speaking in the opening session of the parliament this morning, he noted that the Father of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini returned home from exile 33 years ago this day as the leader of the magnificent Islamic Revolution and then managed to topple the corrupt Pahlavi dynasty just within ten days. He stressed that the continuous emergence of revolutions in the region is the result of Iran’s Islamic Revolution. He said the Late Imam introduced the real identity of such a big idol as the US to people and never deviated from the right path and course of his enlightening combat. The speaker stressed that the spirit of fighting the Big Satan was first initiated by Imam Khomeini more than three decades ago, the fruit of which is the awakening of Muslim nations./end
