Lavrov hails talks with Kerry in Sochi

SOCHI, May 12./TASS/. The Russian and US delegations led by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry have finished a meeting in Sochi. The talks continued about four hours. In reply to the query how they had proceeded, Lavrov said "Wonderfully". Earlier reports said the sides planned to discuss the whole range of issues souring Russian-American ties, the situation in Ukraine, the Middle East and around Iran. They concern "the situation in the world generally and Russian-American ties with all their problem elements," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told Tass ahead of the talks. "There will be enough time to systematically and profoundly discuss point by point the whole very difficult agenda, which is not improving," the diplomat said.
