Lavrov will meet with de Mistura on May 3 - Russian diplomat

GENEVA, April 29. /TASS/. UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura will visit Moscow on May 3 and meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Russian envoy to the UN office and other international organizations in Geneva Alexey Borodavkin said on Friday. "It was agreed that de Mistura will arrive in Moscow on May 3 to discuss the results of the recent round and further prospects for dialogue between the sides," Borodavkin said. "In the Russian capital, he will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov," he added. An informed source in Moscow told TASS earlier that de Mistura is expected to pay a visit to the Russian capital to discuss the results of Geneva talks on Syria. Read more
