Lebanese Expert: Iran’s Stands Changing Regional Situation To Benefit Of Resistance Front

Beirut, May 15, IRNA – Lebanese expert in political and strategic affairs Kamel Wazne said Iran’s stands on the Middle East issues especially the crisis in Syria have changed regional situation to the benefit of the resistance front. Talking to IRNA, he said Iran’s stands on the Syrian crisis are transparent and principled, noting that Tehran has repeatedly stressed that it will not allow the US and the Zionist regime to play with Syria. He said Iran has made it clear that safeguarding the interests of the Syrian nation is of prime importance to it. He stressed that Qatar and Saudi Arabia could not deny their responsibility towards the Syrian crisis especially the recent Zionist regimeˈs attack on a research center near Damascus. He said the Syrian government will surely give an answer to the attack in due place and time. Pointing to the recent victories of the Syrian army and its superior position in war against the terrorist groups, he said the Zionist regime attacked Syria to strengthen the spirit of the terrorist groups which were suffering from heavy blows. The Lebanese expert criticized the Arab League position regarding the Syrian crisis and said it tried to carry out the US-Zionist plans to destroy the resistance axis./end
