Lebanese Parliament Speaker Condoles S.Leader On Late Mahdavi Kani’s Death

Beirut, Oct 22, IRNA – Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri in a condolence message addressed to Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khameniei condoled with him on the demise of Chairman of the Assembly of Experts Mohammad Reza Mahdavi Kani. Speaker Berri also in two other separate messages sympathized on the sad occasion with President Hassan Rouhani and Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani. Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Mahdavi Kani who was also the president of Imam Sadeq University was a close aide of the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini Ayatollah Kani on June 4th, 2014, and after attending the 25th demise anniversary of the late Imam Khomeni (P) had a heart stroke and was hospitalized in unconscious status ever since then.
