LeJ Claims Responsibility For 3 Hazaras Killing

Islamabad, Nov 12, IRNA -- The banned extremist group, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi has claimed responsibility for the killing of three Shia Muslims in the Pakistani city of Quetta in different incidents. Unidentified gunmen shot dead three Hazara men in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan in target attacks, police said. Three other Hazaras were injured in the target attacks. According to details, one Hazara was shot dead in Qalandar Bazaar while another was killed on Alamdar road. The third man was shot dead on Pishin rod. The gunmen behind the three attacks fled. The lshkar spokesman, Abu Bakar Siddiq called media persons in Quetta by phone and claimed responsibility for the attacks. On Friday, gunmen riding a motorcycle shot dead a man of Hazara origin in Quetta. The Hazara community has been targeted several times in the past in the ongoing sectarian violence in Balochistan, with banned militant organizations often claiming responsibility for the attacks./end
