L.Erdenechimeg MP meets Polish parliamentary delegation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Head of the Mongolia-Poland inter-parliamentary group at the State Great Khural (parliament) L.Erdenechimeg MP Thursday met with Ms Maria Koc, a Deputy Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, who is taking part in the ASEP9 running in Ulaanbaatar. At the beginning of the meeting, Ms Erdenechimeg said she has been serving as Mongolia-Poland inter-parliamentary group’s chair since being elected as a MP, and emphasized the parliamentary ties plays a vital role in the bilateral relations. Mongolia has learned many things from Polish experiences in political and socio-economic reforms, Ms Erdenechimeg said, and thanked the Polish side for rendering concrete support to Mongolia for preparing skilled staffers. In turn, Ms Koc mentioned that the bilateral relations have been active at an economic and parliamentary levels, and then expressed willingness to boost the cooperation with Mongolia in trade and economy. She also said her country wants to share experiences with Mongolia in setting up a group of women MPs at the parliament. At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on further cooperation between the legislative bodies.
