Long-term observers of OSCE arrives in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Long-term 20 observers from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe /OSCE/ have arrived here to observe the Presidential election of Mongolia to be held on June 26. On Friday, the Chairman of General Election Commission (GEC) Ch.Sodnomtseren received the observers. They said they will be deployed throughout provinces from next week. In addition, about 300 short-term observers will work during the Presidential election. They aim to focus the election legal environment, the balance of election advertisement and activities in counting electors, the technology of counting voting papers and tackling of complaints.
