Madrid hopes Moscow talks will be fruitful: Spanish ambassador

TEHRAN, June 6 (MNA) – Spanish Ambassador to Iran Pedro Villena said that his country hopes the next round of talks between Iran and the six major powers in Moscow will be fruitful and help solve all disputes over Iran’s nuclear program. He said that one of the priorities of Spain’s foreign policy is to support multilateralism and to pursue diplomacy. Madrid has always supported talks between Tehran and the West, he said, adding that his country is totally opposed to the use of force for solving problems. He also expressed hope that the nuclear negotiations in Moscow would yield good results. He also expressed satisfaction with the start of technical negotiations between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and said that Yukia Omano’s visit to Tehran produced good results. In response to a question about economic ties between Tehran and Madrid, he said that the two countries have always had close economic ties.
