Majlis Commission Convenes To Discuss Vienna Talks: MP

Tehran, June 23, IRNA – Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission convened on Sunday to discuss the last round of nuclear talks between Iran and the West which ended in Vienna on Friday, according to lawmaker Hossein Naqavi Hosseini. Speaking to IRNA, Naqavi Hosseini called on the Iranian negotiators to pursue the complete removal of all sanctions imposed on Iran by the UN Security Council, the Europe and the United States. During the commission session, the legislators reviewed different talks in Geneva and Vienna and bilateral and multilateral expert-level talks recently held in a bid to remove differences between Iran and all the parties involved, Hosseini said. According to Hosseini, another issue discussed during todayˈs session was the latest developments in Iraq. Hosseini said that the head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi presented a report on the atrocities perpetrated by the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) across Iraq. Boroujerdi warned regional countries, including Saudi Arabia and Turkey, for providing support to ISIS terrorists, and said the fire lit up by the US and its allies will soon inflame the countries masterminding the plots./end
