Majlis Condemns EU For Blacklisting Hezbollah Military Wing

Tehran, July 23, IRNA – Iran MPs in a statement on Tuesday condemned EU's move by recording the armed wing of Lebanon's Hezbollah on its list of terrorist groups. The statement read out in Majlis open session Tuesday by Zarghan Sadeghi, a member of Majlis presiding board, read that Hezbollah which is the valuable symbol of resistance against the Zionist regime is a source of pride for the Islamic Ummah. Hezbollah instilled new spirit in the body of the Islamic Uammh by liberating the occupied territories of the southern Lebanon, after years of violating Muslim countries territories and contempting the Islamic world by the Zionist regime, the statement added. It put an end to such contemptuous behaviors and created a great honor by defeating the Zionist regime, it said, noting that Hezbollah managed to defeat the fourth powerful army of the world and disturb power equation in the region with the assistance of the military wing. We denounce the inhuman and anti-Islam move by the EU and express support to Hezbollah and its brave leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrollah, the statement noted./end
