Malaysia’s Navy Chief pays farewell visit to Thailand

BANGKOK, September 3 (TNA) -- Malaysia’s Navy Chieff Admiral Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Jaafar paid a farewell visit to Supreme Commander of the Royal Thai Armed Forces General Worapong Sanganet on Thursday. During the reception, held at the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarter in Bangkok, Admiral Abdul Aziz Jaafar stressed the good long relations between Malaysia and Thailand and expected the two nations would further enhance military cooperation in the future. Abdul Aziz Jaafar joined the Royal Malaysian Navy in 1974. He was appointed Malaysia’s Navy Chief on April 1, 2008. (END)
