Malaysia Welcomes Relief Of Anti-Iran Sanctions

Kuala Lumpur, Jan 21, IRNA – Malaysian Ambassador to Tehran Mohammad Sadeq bin Katargani said relief of anti-Iran sanctions will remove the existing obstacles in the way of foreign trade exchange with the Islamic Republic. Addressing Iran-Malaysia palm oil fair, the diplomat referred to November 24 nuclear agreement reached between Iran and the six powers as important. He said the deal proved that the negotiating sides are interested in reaching a comprehensive agreement. The European Union foreign ministers in a meeting held in Brussels, Belgium, suspended some of anti-Iran sanctions. According to joint plan of action between Iran and the group of sextet, Iran and Europe are allowed to witness ten fold increase in their trade exchange level. January 20 was set for implementation of the Geneva deal./end
