Meeting of the Steering Committee on implementation of the GUAM TTF Project due in Azerbaijan

Kiev, December 20, AzerTAc Meeting of the Steering Committee on the implementation of the GUAM Trade and Transportation Facilitation (TTF) Project was held in Odessa, Ukraine. The event was attended by representatives of the member state and its Secretariat. Participants approved the agenda of the 21st meeting of the Steering Committee and discussed the questions concerning the course of implementation of the project on assistance to trade and transportation in the GUAM member states, about coordination of “The protocol between customs administrations of GUAM member states, on the organization of exchange of preliminary information on the goods and vehicles moved through borders of GUAM member states”, as well as on the draft of “The protocol between customs administrations of GUAM member states about mutual recognition of separate results of customs control of goods and vehicles between customs administrations of the member states”. Participants of meeting heard information of the Azerbaijani side on introduction at the national level of the "Time Release Study" project on the methodology of World Customs Organization. The next meeting will take place in the Azerbaijan Republic in the first half of 2015.
