Mehmanparast: Iran Will Easily Overcome Problems In Present Historic Juncture

Bandar Abbas, Hormuzgan prov, Feb 24, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said the Iranian nation will surely overcome the obstacles of the current historic juncture. In a meeting with university students of this southern province Saturday evening, he said the nation had already reached the point where it can easily overcome the specific conditions of this historic era. However, he said, the Iranians have to stay vigilant during the few months up to the presidential elections to foil the enemies’ plots. He stressed that the closer the nation gets to the date of the upcoming presidential elections, slated for June 14, the harder enemies try to create false political tides against the country. Having failed to wage a military war against Iran, the spokesman noted, the enemies have embarked on using economic pressures and sanctions as a tool to inflict blows on the nation./end
