Mexican, Nigerian Personages Support DPRK's Nuclear Warhead Explosion Test

Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Mexican and Nigerian personages made public statements on Sept. 12 and 14 to congratulate the DPRK on its successful nuclear warhead explosion test for self-defense. Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, warmly congratulated the Korean people on their successful nuclear warhead explosion test to defend the sovereignty and vital rights from the ever-increasing U.S. threats of aggression, and said: The U.S. imperialists are making indiscriminative air raids upon the weak countries in disregard of international law and sparking artificial wars by sowing the seeds of discord. It is quite natural for the Korean people to further build up the nuclear deterrent to cope with this and it is of weighty significance in protecting peace on the Korean peninsula and in other parts of the world. We send invariable support and solidarity to the Korean people fighting undauntedly despite the pressure of the imperialists. Ibrahim Mantu, member of the Credit Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria and chairman of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association, said it was a very just measure that the DPRK increased the self-defensive nuclear deterrent in every way to counter the U.S. which deployed the largest-ever nuclear strategic assets and huge troops in the Korean peninsula and imposed nuclear threat and blackmail upon the DPRK for some decades. He demanded the U.S. stop threatening the sovereignty and vital rights of the DPRK and quit at once the anachronistic hostile policy towards the DPRK with a reasonable judgment of the reality. -0-
