MILITARY ATTACHÉ OFFICE OPENS AT EMBASSY OF TURKEY

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia Mr Murat Karagoz said that his country’s Embassy in Mongolia has opened the military attaché office. The Ambassador said it on August 30 during a reception ran in the Residence occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the Greatest Victory of the War of Liberation that was won by Turkish armies under the command of Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Pasha. The reception attracted Mr Ts.Tsolmon, the Minister of Defense and chair of the Mongolia-Turkey joint committee for the economic and trade cooperation for the Mongolian side; officers of the Defense Ministry and diplomats. At the reception, Mr Tsolmon said he is happy for expanding of the bilateral comprehensive relations in politics, economy, military and cultural spheres. Mr Murat Karagoz also emphasized an importance of the Victory Day for Turkish people, and then informed that the Embassy opened the military attaché office last month. Afterwards, the Defense Minister awarded Mr Karagoz with the 70th jubilee medal of the victory on the Liberation War of 1945 for his valuable contribution to the Turkish-Mongolian defense relations. Within the event, a documentary film about the Armed Forces of Turkey was shown to the guests.
