Military Racket against Compatriots Can Never Be Justified: Minju Joson

Pyongyang, June 3 (KCNA) -- The south Korean military dispatched three warships, fighter jets and 700 odd troops to RIMPAC joint military exercises to be held in the waters off Hawaii from June 27 to August 2. It also announced that it would launch annual Ulji Freedom Guardian as scheduled in August. Minju Joson in a commentary Sunday says: As known, RIMPAC is a DPRK-targeted war drill which has been staged biennially since 1971. The south Korean military is about to be involved in such an offending drill inciting war against peace without hesitation. Such attitude runs counter to the Panmunjom declaration. The racket of seeking military confrontation with the compatriots in the north can never be justified as it is against the unanimous demand of all Koreans and the trend of the times. -0-
