Minister Condemns Zionists Crimes In Gaza

Tehran, July 27, IRNA – Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Janati here on Saturday condemned the Zionistsˈ crimes against innocent Gazans. He made the remarks in a meeting with Ambassador of Bangladesh to Iran Khandakar Abdul Sattar. ˈRegional countries should stay united and cooperate with each other in order to fight such crimes,ˈ Janati added. Referring to long history of Iran-Bangladesh friendly relations, the minister said Tehran will prepare the ground for further participation of the Iranian artists in Bangladeshˈs art festivals. He also stressed the need for extension of the newly expired Tehran-Dhaka agreement on cultural cooperation. The two countries had signed an agreement on cultural cooperation for five years. Meanwhile, the Bangladeshi ambassador condemned brutal atrocities of the Zionist regime against defenseless people of Gaza. Tel Aviv attacks on Gazans have, so far, left about 900 dead and hundreds of injured who are mostly women and children. Israeli atrocities in Gaza triggered outrage of the world public opinion. Both Muslims and non-Muslims around the world, regardless of their religious and ethnic affiliations, have held massive rallies on Friday to demonstrate their support for Palestinians and the Resistance Movement on the occasion of the International Quds Day. The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan was declared the International Quds Day by the Founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini./end
