Minister of Energy meets Ambassador of Turkey

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Energy D.Zorigt Tuesday received Mr Murat Karagoz, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Mongolia. Noting that Turkey has big experiences in the industry of renewable energy sector, the Minister asked the Turkish side to introduce Turkish techniques and technologies in Mongolia and to train energy engineers and technicians in Turkey. The Minister also said two Turkish companies--the “Aidiner Global” LLC and the “ZTM” LLC--are currently running business here in the energy sector. In turn, the Ambassador asked the Minister to extend special licenses of these companies. The “ZTM” LLC recently has worked out a master plan for the water energy of Mongolia, said the Ambassador and gave it to the Energy Ministry. The research has been conducted in basins of 29 rivers. Present at the meeting were also P.Tovuudorj, head of the Ministry’s Department of Strategy, Policy and Planning; and Tunjer Kyak, first secretary of the Embassy.
