MINISTER KH.BADELKHAN MEETS AMBASSADOR OF CHINA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Construction and Urban Development Kh.Badelkhan met Ambassador of China to Mongolia Xing Haiming on January 8. At the meeting, they talked about projects and programs to be implemented with non-refundable aid and soft loans from Government of China. Specifically, within the framework of USD 1 billion soft loan, USD 300 million will be spent on renovating of the Wastewater Treatment Plant of Ulaanbaatar city. In connection with commencing the renovation work within the second quarter of this year, accelerating the financing and rendering support to urgently launch a project to establish ‘Service center’ micro sub-centers as well as upgrading engineering infrastructure of ger areas were discussed during the meeting. Moreover the sides talked over financing a project ‘Temporary apartments for 1008 households’ and establishing memorandum of understanding between Administration of Land Affairs, Geodesy and Cartography of the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development of Mongolia and National Administration of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation of China. At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Xing Haiming said that the issues discussed at the meeting will be immediately conveyed and introduced to the Government of China. B.Batchimeg
