MINISTER PUREVSUREN SEES OFF INDIAN PM

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Group of officials led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia L.Purevsuren and the Department for Asian, Middle Eastern and African Affairs N.Naranbat saw off the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Monday morning at the Chingis Khaan International Airport. Thus, the Indian Prime Minister concluded his two-day state visit to Mongolia. The visit has been the first-ever visit to Mongolia paid by a head of Indian government, and coincided with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. During the visit the Mongolian and Indian Premiers held official talks and held signing ceremony of 14 cooperation documents in various sectors. Mr Narendra Modi and the Speaker of Mongolian Parliament Z.Enkhbold addressed the honorary meeting of the State Great Khural. The Republic of India officially opened a Line of Credit of One Million US Dollars for expanding Mongolia’s economic capacity and infrastructure development. The two governments resolved to increase the number of Mongolian students to study in India to 150-200, and to open a Mongolian-Indian joint secondary school. The Indian PM Narendra Modi emphasized that the two countries have abundance of new cooperation ways in many sectors such as mining, health, pharmaceutical sphere and dairy productions.
