Minister: Tehran To Downgrade Ties With Advocates Of Iran Oil Ban

Sari, Feb 6, IRNA - Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mehdi Ghazanfari said on Sunday Iran would downgrade ties with those countries advocating ban on Iranian crude oil. He made the remark in an interview with IRNA during a ceremony to inaugurate an industrial project in Mahmoudabad. Ghazanfari warned European countries planning to nam Iran oil imports and said the Iranian Oil Ministry is serious in not selling oil to those countries and the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade in a retaliatory measure will reduce volume of trade with Europeans. “Europeans must not expect any trade cooperation on the part of Iran while they are imposing sanction against Iranian crude oil,“ he said. The minister expressed hope Europeans would revise their decision and would instead prepare the ground for just settlement of differences./end
