Minju Joson Slams Japanese Reactionaries' Moves for Overseas Aggression

Pyongyang, 22 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, inhabitants in Osaka and Nagasaki prefectures of Japan filed a suit in a court against the Abe regime which railroaded the "security legislation". Hundreds of inhabitants from all walks of life including more than 100 A-bomb victims strongly demanded the immediate repeal of the legislation, declaring that it may mercilessly dampen their desire to live in a peaceful environment and bring another war and nuclear disaster to the country. Minju Joson Wednesday in a commentary says this is an eruption of the people's pent-up resentment at the present ruling forces keen to realize the militarization and launch overseas aggression. The Japanese reactionaries are getting frantic to realize their old dream of the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere" through overseas aggression, the dream which they failed to do in the last century, but this is no more than a daydream, the commentary notes, and goes on: Those who sought to dominate the world by invading other nations could not escape their miserable destruction without exception. Japan's militarist reinvasion would only lead it to a final ruin, leaving no way of rebirth. Well aware of this, public circles and civic organizations of Japan are coming out to judge the government authorities' crimes against the nation. Overseas aggression moves sought by the Japanese reactionaries going against the people's mind-set and challenging mankind desirous of peace are bound to face due judgment of history. The Japanese reactionaries would be well advised to stop at once their reckless actions and saber-rattling, clearly mindful that overseas aggression against other countries and nations would get them nowhere. -0-
