Mohamed bin Zayed's visit to Egypt strengthens strategic cooperation between two countries, says UAE Ambassador to Egypt

CAIRO, 22nd April, 2016 (WAM) -- Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, the UAE’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, has said that the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to the Arab Republic of Egypt, comes within the framework of fraternal and strategic cooperation between the two countries. He added that Sheikh Mohamed's meeting with President of Egypt, Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, comes within this respect, and in line with continuous consultations between the two countries in the best interest of the two countries. In a statement, Al Dhaheri said President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi, embody distinguished Arab model in terms of fraternal ties and values derived from the deep-rooted ties. He also added that the UAE's political leadership backs Egypt as the relations between the two countries surpass all traditional frameworks into wider horizons towards unprecedented high levels of joint cooperation, harmony and coordination. The UAE envoy also indicated that all the cooperation programmes between the two countries are notable, indicating that the UAE Rulers and all Emiratis believe that Egypt will remain safe and secure, thanks to its wise leadership and the sacrifices of its people, as well as the support provided by all its brothers and friends.
