MONGOLIA AND TURKEY TO COOPERATE IN ANTI-TERRORISM

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia and the Republic of Turkey will collaborate in fighting against terrorism and will hold joint workshops. The two countries reached such an agreement during an ongoing working visit of Mongolia’s law enforcement bodies to Turkey. The group has included 15 officials from the Central Intelligence Agency, General Police Department, General Headquarters of Mongolia's Armed Forces, General Authority for Border Protection, Customs Authority, Taxation Office, Ministry of Road and Transportation, Ministry of Environment and Green Development, and National Forensic Institute. They have held with their Turkish counterparts meetings and talks on anti-terrorism operations, on upgrading a relate legal environment, then got au fait with the Turkish terrorism combating body’s functions and structure. Within the visit, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Turkey B.Batkhishig received the delegation to give information about the Mongolia-Turkey relations. The visit will continue until 31.
