"Apart of this, Mongolia should develop a cooperation with its Third neighbors, including Germany, at international arena in order to ensure the security and freedom," he added. "Mongolia's 'Third neighborhood' policy has been achieving successes, and time has come to draw a conclusion. In gaining the results our path was not smooth," D.Ganbat, the director of the ISS said. "All generations of its governance Mongolia has always intended to develop relations with Germany, for example, the government, led by Emperor Bogd, sent an official letter to Germany in order to establish ties, besides, we have a 70-year history of relations with the former German Democratic Republic," he went on. "Now Mongolia must face challenges, in last centuries Mongolia used to be instructed by others who with and how to communicate with foreign world," he said. Now, as the independent state, Mongolia has become a participant and initiator at the regional level, and, in terms of economics and mineral wealth, is not a small state at all, he added.
