MONGOLIA-RUSSIA CONSULTATIVE MEETING HELD

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 13th consular consultative meeting between the Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and the Russian Federation (RF) ran Thursday in Ulaanbaatar. Before the meeting, the parties had reached an agreement over a final draft of the Mongolia-Russia intergovernmental agreement on peoples' mutual visits. The Mongolian side conveyed to Russia drafts of intergovernmental agreement on readmission and of a protocol on performing the rule of realizing the agreement. At the consultation, the sides concluded measures taken in lines of the previous consultative meeting, and concurred to expand the consular ties, improve the travel conditions for peoples, exchange information about the people who committed crimes in each other countries, study a matter of insurance for the Russians residing here, and to strengthen the consular representation. The meeting was co-chaired by Sh.Sukhbaatar, a director of the Consular Department of the Foreign Ministry of Mongolia, and by A.L.Prosvirkin, a deputy director of the Consular Department of Russia’s Foreign Ministry. The same day, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia D.Gankhuyag received the delegation headed by Mr A.L.Prosvirkin, and expressed a satisfaction with the above meeting.
