Mongolian FM meets MCC Vice President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ FM L.Purevsuren, who was attending the UN General Assembly Session in New York, received the vice president of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Kamran Khan on October 1. The sides unanimously stated that the projects and programs included in MCC Second Compact of Mongolia are suppsed to result in long-term efficiency in Mongolia’s social and economic development. Specifically, “it is important to sophisticate Ulaanbaatar’s urban planning to promote comprehensive development of the ger (national dwelling) areas, with a help of the world’s best urban planning models”, said K.Khan. Mongolia is soon to present the proposals on the projects to implement within MCC Compact. Just a fortnight ago, a MCC delegation visited Mongolia to analyse a preparation for the project selection.
