Mongolians learning Japanese experience in urban development

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Three official from Ministries have worked in Kobe city of Japan to study the Japanese techniques and technologies for underground constructions and water supply. This became necessary in frames of the "Street” project being implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development. The group also met with Mr Takeshige, a member of Kobe city's Assembly, to talk about our construction sphere, then got acquainted with structures of water-diversion ditches and water supply and engineering pipelines and a technology that transfers water and mountain waters into drinking water, and got information from experts on urban planning and installation of highways. Kobe city’s officials expressed a readiness to promote our construction works, noted that the Mongolian side has to propose specific researches and projects. In addition, the city is also ready to introduce its new technologies in Ulaanbaatar.
