Mongolia's President receives Nobel Peace Prize Laureate

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia, Ts.Elbegdorj received Ms Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, the 1991 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Chairperson and General Secretary of National League for Democracy of Myanmar on April 30. Their talks ran in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The guest and accompanying her delegation were very interested in the Ger of state ceremonies, where she was received, and in precious stones mosaic, curtains decorated with gems, scripture, books, portrait of Great Chingis Khaan. Ts.Elbegdorj showed her "The Secret History of the Mongols" and the "Ikh Tsaaz Law Code". After this the dignitaries spoke about how Mongolia started a democratic movement in 1989, how the new Constitution was approved. Then they talked about national festivals such as Mongolian "White month" and Maynmar's water festival.
