Moscow, Tehran, Baku highlight need to implement JCPOA for Iran’s nuclear program

TEHRAN, November 1. /TASS/. Moscow, Tehran and Baku believe that member states should abide by the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) for Iran’s nuclear program, Presidents of Russia, Iran and Azerbaijan Vladimir Putin, Hassan Rouhani and Ilham Aliyev said in a joint statement signed at their trilateral talks. "The parties emphasize the particular importance of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action for Iran’s nuclear program as an example of an effective agreement aimed at resolving a complicated global issue, and admit that in order to implement it, all the parties should strictly abide by their obligations, while Iran and other member states should appropriately use the advantages provided by the document’s provisions," the statement reads. According to the statement, the parties take notice of the fact that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed Iran’s compliance with the Plan and "point to the United Nations member states’ obligations to facilitate the implementation of this multilateral agreement."
