MP Criticizes Arab Countries, Turkey Ties With Zionist Regime

Tehran, Nov 17, IRNA – Iranian Parliament Member Abbas Papizadeh criticized here on Friday, relations of the Arab countries and Turkey with the occupying force of Zionist regime. 'Turkey and the Arab countries should not be silent toward Israel oppression of the Palestinian nation; Zionist regime and the arrogant powers propaganda machine is not able to hide the criminal aggression of Zionist regime against the Palestinians; Hamas will defeat the occupying force of Zionist regime and this regime will dissolve soon.' Iranian Parliament intends to send a committee to visit Gaza, Deputy head of the Iranian Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Mansour Haghighat-pour said here on Friday. 'Chairman of the Parliament Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy Alaeddin Boroujerdi will lead the visiting committee,' he said. The senior cleric added that the visiting committee aims to condole with the victims of ongoing Israel raid on Gaza and to declare Tehran's support for the Palestinian nation. 'The date of the visit has not been scheduled yet and the committee is expected to enter Gaza from the Rafah Border Crossing. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi conferred latest regional and international developments including the Zionist regime raid on Gaza with the Hamas Political Bureau chief Khaled Mashal by phone. Salehi emphasized Iranian nation and government solidarity with the Palestinian nation. 'Iran is ready to send humanitarian aid including medicine for Gaza people.' Mashal for his part, thanked Iran's supports and decaled the Palestinian resistance movement prepared to defend the Palestinian nation ideals. In the meantime, Palestinian Islamic Jihad Leader Ramadan Abdullah Shallah thanked Friday Iran's political and spiritual support for the Palestinian nation. He made the remarks in a phone talk with Iran's Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi. Iran's FM and Islamic Jihad leader conferred on the latest regional and international developments as well as the situation in Gaza Strip after the Zionist regime attacks on this most populated region. The Iranian Foreign Minister for his part emphasized Tehran's support for Palestinian resistance against occupying force of Zionist regime. The Iranian foreign minister also declared his preparedness to visit Gaza. In the meantime, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani called for the international organizations, here on Friday to stop the Zionist regime attacks on Palestinians in Gaza. He made the remarks in a phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Jamil Kuchik. 'The occupying force of Zionist regime continues its criminal attacks on Palestinians, not being bound to the international rules and regulations and this is because of the fact that it has the full support of the world powers.' He pointed to his phone talks with his counterparts in Iraq, Algeria, Tunisia, Pakistan, and Lebanon, Syria as well as the secretary general of Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly and added that the regional and international organizations should do their best in support of the oppressed Palestinian nation. Meanwhile, Iranian Energy Minister Majid Namjoo conferred here on Friday, latest regional and international developments including the Zionist regime raid on Gaza with Lebanon's Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. Namjoo who is in a three day trip to Beirut, noted in the meeting that the Zionist regime doesn’t need an excuse for attacking its neighbors when allegedly suppose that there is an electoral, political or security related benefit to do this. 'Supporting the resistance is a big need today and Iranian nation is committed to stand beside the regional resistance movements against the occupying force of Zionist regime.'
