MP: EU Deceived By Plot Of Zionists, Saudi Arabia

Tehran, April 6, IRNA - Member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Esmail Kosari said on Saturday that the country should differentiate between proponents and opponents of an anti-Iran resolution issued by the European Union. Speaking to IRNA, he said the European Union has been deceived by a plot masterminded by the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia. Talks between Iran and G5+1 are now proceeding and the outcome of the deal between Iran and western countries was intolerable for the Zionist regime and a number of Arab states in the Persian Gulf region and this is why they urged the European Union to issue anti-Iran resolution. Since many countries in the world have voiced readiness to sign economic agreements with Iran, the Zionist regime along with certain Arab states in the Persian Gulf region are concerned about this development, he said. Lambasting the call made by the European Union to legalize homosexuality in an Islamic country, he said the Islamic Republic of Iran under no circumstances lets Europeans interfere in its domestic affairs. Iran will strongly deal with all illogical demands raised by the European Union including establishing direct contact with the heads of dissident groups as well as opening of representative office in Iran, he said. Majlis will give a strongly worded response to the resolution issued by Europe Union, Kosari said./end
