MP: Gaza, Proof Of Savagery Of So-called Human Rights Advocates

Tehran, July 20, IRNA – Iranian parliamentarian Mohammad Hassan Abutorabifard here on Sunday said that Gaza today proves the savagery of the modern world and the hollowness of the claims of the so-called human rights advocates. The MP who is Vice-Speaker of Majlis, made the remarks while addressing the open session of the legislative body this morning. He stressed that Gaza has stood against the extreme-seeking spirit of the world bullying powers and their illegitimate offspring, the Zionist regime. The parliamentarian noted that the descendents of the Prophet of Islam (S) are currently engaged in a battle in Gaza against oppressors and the Zionist criminals who are experts in killing children with the support of the US and other bullying powers. Referring to martyrdom of over 350 defenseless people and injury of over 2,000 civilians in Gaza, he said, the Strip is the token of the innocense of human beings whose bones get crashed under the bloody boots of the bullying powers. The Iranian parliamentarian further regretted that both the Arab leaders and the international bodies are virtually approving the crimes by their silence. Inspired by the ideals of the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, as well as the valuable guidelines of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, he added, the Iranian nation is going to stand by the oppressed Gazans in defending Islam and Muslims./end
